Directions to the Magruder Dent, Jr. Rowing Center Boathouse
From East/West:
From Interstate-64, take Exit 118B onto Rt. 29N. Go 4.0 miles, and take the exit for Rt. 29N / N. Emmet St. (towards Washington). After 0.5 miles, turn left at the light onto Hydraulic Rd. Go 1.7 miles, and turn left at the light of Earlysville Rd.--at this intersection, there will be a church and a "Rock Store" convenience and gas mart both on your left. Proceed down the hill 0.7 miles, and take a left onto Woodlands Rd. / Rt. 676, before the bridge. Go 0.4 miles and turn right into the Magruder Dent Rowing Center--it's the third driveway on the right, just before a small reflective orange sign.
From South:
Take Route 29 north. Once you start seeing exits for Charlottesville, keep your eyes open and take the exit for Rt. 29N / N. Emmet St. (towards Washington). Follow 66W to exit 43A, which is for 29S towards Gainesville / Warrenton. Take 29S 78.0 miles into Charlottesville, and turn right at the light for Rio Rd. (there will be a Guaranty Bank on the right). Go 1.1 miles (Rio Rd. will curve to the left), and take a right at the light of Earlysville Rd.--at this intersection, there will be a church and a "Rock Store" convenience and gas mart both on your right. Proceed down the hill 0.7 miles, and take a left onto Woodlands Rd. / Rt. 676, before the bridge.
